Traveling Diana in NJ

Traveling Diana in NJ

Jessica Scarlett

Traveling Diana is a special All Gold in One (aka Goldie) Blythe that will be raffled off (along with all of her clothing and treasures from her journey!) at BlytheCon Detroit this summer. What an amazing prize, right?!!

I had been wanting to try this newer cape and matching dress style out for a while, and Diana was the perfect model for it. The blue tiny floral fabric is true 60s vintage and I'm absolutely obsessed with how teeny tiny those flowers are! I'm hoping to make more of this style set for the con with some different vintage fabrics.

She got out to see some of the wacky and weird spots around our little area in South Jersey. Started out visiting my favorite dinosaur statue in Haddonfield. The Hadrosaurus foulkii was the first reasonably intact dinosaur skeleton ever found and it was also the first dinosaur skeleton ever put on public display, which is pretty dang neat if you ask me! We also took a little stroll over to one of the town’s beautiful churches that you can walk through the grounds of and had to stop and get a photo at the hellebores, in full bloom 😍

Our tour continued to Del Buono’s, a delicious bakery known for their fresh rolls and more importantly for their collection of kitschy animals and characters that decorate the outside. It was VERY windy that day so please excuse her hair as *someone* may have forgotten to bring along a brush….we did our best 😅
